Duties and Responsibilities:
Achieve individual monthly, quarterly and annual sales goals resulting from the development and sales of local agency and direct client spot business vendor and co-op based programs, station projects and special events, as well as all digital and interactive platforms.
Able to accurately project personal revenue achievement by week, month or quarter upon request form sales Management.
Proficient in and make creative use of all research and marketing information provided by the station.
Be available for weekend and evening supervision of and participation in station client events in addition to the normal week day working hours of 8:30am to 5:30pm.

Minimum Qualifications for Consideration:
Previous media sales experience in a similar position preferred.
Working knowledge of Arbitron and Tapscan
Basic understanding of interactive media to include website display, social media, text messaging, on-line streaming and e-mail marketing.
Excellent written and verbal skills.
Working knowledge of R.L. Polk data, Miller Kaplan X-Ray and Media Monitors will be required learning if not already mastered.
Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.

Traffic Manager-Temp (F/T)

Specific duties for this position include, but are not limited to, the producing of daily commercial logs including affiliate stations, order entry and revisions, managing and maximizing commercial inventory, copy rotation entry, clock maintenance and daily log verification. This position will also be responsible for continuity of assigned barters.

Experience:
Traffic knowledge and experience is preferred; however, if a candidate exhibits strong computer and analytical skills, training will be considered. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
Requirements:
Candidate must be a self-starter, detail oriented, accurate and able to work in a fast paced environment working with various high volume assignments. Excellent communication skills and a positive outlook is a must!

Duties may include some production, call screening, and conducting/operating remote appearances from the studio.

Traffic Reporters/Anchors - Part time

Details:
Will gather news and traffic information via computer, telephone and contact with producer, then report traffic information to client stations via on-air and via TTN information screen as directed by the manager.

Experience:
We need someone who has a good quality voice, and also has knowledge of the San Diego freeways and highways. If you are able to think on your own and you have strong people skills, can work under a deadline with changing conditions, and can interact with a variety of radio formats, then you need to apply!


Requirements:
Flexibility in hours and shifts are a must. Requires a minimum of 1 year experience working in traffic or news reporting on radio or TV, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Bilingual is a plus.

Sophie @ 103.7 San Diego is looking for a qualified Assistant Program Director/Music Director to assist with the Programming of an Adult Top 40 Radio station. Candidates should have at least three years experience in programming, be highly skilled with music scheduling (preferably Selector), and have extensive knowledge of the Hot AC and/or Pop formats and female demo. Experience and talent with writing and producing Imaging specific to the format and demo a plus. Knowledge of Traditional and Online Research as well as knowledge of PPM a HUGE plus. Candidate must also have on air experience and be able to relate, work with and motivate staff with the help of the Program Director. We are looking specifically for someone who is capable of performing in a dual role such as APD/Imaging, APD/On Air, or APD/Web Coordinator.

Advertisers are getting mixed signals about what constitutes TV. The medium once was represented largely by the Big Three, but is fast becoming (with apologies to Thomas Hardy) the Madding Crowd.
Advertisers in the insurance category make a major investment in San Diego Radio in 2011, moving it up to the 8th largest spending category in local radio revenue.
