Three San Diego radio stations were named finalists in the National Association of Broadcasters™ Marconi Radio Awards. Jazz 88 (KSDS/88.3 FM) was nominated for large-market station of the year, alternative station FM 94.9 (KBZT/94.9 FM) was a finalist in the rock-station category, and KSON-FM (97.3 and 92.1 FM) was a finalist for country station of the year. The winners were announced September 18th at the annual NAB Marconi Radio Awards Dinner & Show in Austin.
